聖人慶日：
聖亞他納修的安東尼，或稱阿陀斯山的亞他那修。於阿陀斯聖山建立了大勞拉修道院（The monastery of Great Lavra），對後世的修道方式也有很大的影響。Athanasius又亦作亞大那削。
正教會今日讀經：
格前/ 林前4:5-8
所以，時候未到，你們什麼也不要判斷，只等主來，衪要揭發暗中的隱情，且要顯露人心的計謀：那時，各人才可由天主那裏獲得稱譽。
弟兄們，我為了你們的緣故，把這些事貼在我自己和阿頗羅身上，好叫你們跟我們學習「不可越過所記載的，」免得有人自大，高看這個，鄙視那個。誰使你異於別人呢？你有什麼不是領受的呢？既然是領受的，為什麼你還誇耀，好像不是領受的呢？你已經飽滿了，已經富足了，已無需我們，自己可為王了；恨不得你們真為了王，好叫我們與你們一同為王！
Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God.
I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written, so that none of you will be inflated with pride in favor of one person over against another. Who confers distinction upon you? What do you possess that you have not received? But if you have received it, why are you boasting as if you did not receive it? You are already satisfied; you have already grown rich; you have become kings without us! Indeed, I wish that you had become kings, so that we also might become kings with you.

「天國好像是藏在地裏的寶貝；人找到了，就把他藏起來，高興地去賣掉他所有的一切，買了那塊地。」
「天國又好像一個尋找完美珍珠的商人；他一找到一顆寶貴的珍珠，就去，賣掉他所有的一切，買了它。」
「天國又好像撒在海裏的網，網羅各種的魚。網一滿了，人就拉上岸來，坐下，揀好的，放在器皿裏；壞的，扔在外面。在今世的終結時，也將如此：天使要出去，把惡人由義人中分開，把他們扔在火窯裏；在那裏要有哀號和切齒。這一切你們都明白了嗎？」他們說：「是的。」他就對他們說：「為此，凡成為天國門徒的經師，就好像一個家主，從他的寶庫裏，提出新的和舊的東西。」耶穌講完了這些比喻，就從那裏走了。
他來到自己的家鄉，在會堂裏教訓人，以致人們都驚訝說：「這人從那裏得了這樣的智慧和奇能？」
”The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he finds a pearl of great price, he goes and sells all that he has and buys it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea, which collects fish of every kind. When it is full they haul it ashore and sit down to put what is good into buckets. What is bad they throw away. Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
”Do you understand all these things?” They answered, “Yes.” And he replied, “Then every scribe who has been instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like the head of a household who brings from his storeroom both the new and the old.” When Jesus finished these parables, he went away from there.
He came to his native place and taught the people in their synagogue. They were astonished and said, “Where did this man get such wisdom and mighty deeds?

迦/ 加5:22-6:2
然而聖神的效果卻是：仁愛、喜樂、平安、忍耐、良善、溫和、忠信、柔和、節制：關於這樣的事，並沒有法律禁止。凡是屬於耶穌基督的人，已把肉身同邪情和私慾釘在十字架上了。如果我們因聖神生活，就應隨從聖神的引導而行事。不要貪圖虛榮，不要彼此挑撥，互相嫉妒。
弟兄們，如果見一個人陷於某種過犯，你們既是屬神的人，就該以柔和的心神矯正他；但你們自己要小心，免得也陷入誘惑。你們應彼此協助背負重擔，這樣，你們就滿全了基督的法律。
In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ (Jesus) have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit. Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envious of one another.
Brothers, even if a person is caught in some transgression, you who are spiritual should correct that one in a gentle spirit, looking to yourself, so that you also may not be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.
路6:17-23
耶穌同他們下山，站在一塊平地上，有他的一大群門徒和很多從猶太、耶路撒冷及提洛和漆冬海邊來的群眾，他們來是為聽他講道，並為治好自己的病症；那些被邪魔纏擾的人都被治好了。群眾都設法觸摸他，因為有一種能力從他身上出來，治好眾人。
耶穌舉目望著自己的門徒說：「你們貧窮的是有福的，因為天主的國是你們的。你們現今飢餓的是有福的，因為你們將得飽飫。你們現今哭泣的是有福的，因為你們將要歡笑。幾時，為了人子的緣故，人惱恨你們，並棄絕你們並且以你們的名字為可惡的，而加以辱罵詛咒，你們才是有福的。在那一天，你們歡喜踴躍吧！看，你們的賞報在天上是豐厚的，因為他們的祖先也同樣對待了先知。」
And he came down with them and stood on a stretch of level ground. A great crowd of his disciples and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and even those who were tormented by unclean spirits were cured. Everyone in the crowd sought to touch him because power came forth from him and healed them all.
And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours. Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.”
